Establishment of Dharma in four Yugas !

 1. Krutayug : Dakshinamurti established Dharma in Krutayug. How did He do it ? The Guru’s silence itself was a sermon. Doubts of disciples were taken care of by His silence and they abided by Dharma in day-today life.   2. Tretayug : Deity Dattatreya incarnated for establishment of Dharma. Deity Dattatreya had to preach and establish Dharma since silence would not have any effect.   3. Dwaparyug : Sage Vyas incarnated for establishment of Dharma. He had to compose Holy texts and preach too. He established Dharma through scriptures.  4. Kaliyug : Shankaracharya incarnated on the earth. He had to write Holy texts for establishment of Dharma. He had to mix with people, propagate and spreadDharma. With great effort, He established various Peeths. Thus, the establishment ofDharma was possible.    5. Today’s Kaliyug : About 5000 years have elapsed since the beginning ofKaliyug; hence, we will have to give a serious thought to the task of establishingDharma and also keep the thought alive in the people. We will have to explain ‘Sanatan Dharma’ to them repeatedly. We will have to use all possible means of communications and media.   We will have to sacrifice at the physical, psychological and financial level and explain the true meaning of Hindu Dharma. (Sanatan Sanstha has been making efforts in this direction. - Editor)   6. Unique importance of propagating Hindu Dharma : Let us take an example how propagation works. A Mr. Pat Robertson in USA said on a TV channel, “Sanatan Hindu Dharma is a wild, beastly religion. It comprises criminals. Followers of this religion believe in subtle spiritual regions. They worship 33 crore Deities as also the animals, birds, snakes etc. We should not allow these people to live here. In our country, we should ban Hindus and practicing of Hindu Dharma in day-to-day life.    The interesting part is that a renowned magazine ‘Hinduism Today’ published in USA vociferously advocates ‘Sanatan Hindu Dharma’, presents articles and opinions in favour of Hindu Dharma strongly. They hold conferences and propagate Hindu Dharma. This magazine has very wide circulation in USA and the world over.   What we want to say here is that propagation of Hindu Dharma by ‘Hinduism Today’ is very effective, and since this magazine was highly critical of Mr. Robertson’s views, people ignored Mr. Robertson.
