Those who dream of a Hindu Nation should first develop Hindutva (Seekership) in themselves !

Those who dream of a Hindu Nation should first develop
Hindutva (Seekership) in themselves !
Be active for the establishment of a ‘Hindu Nation’ !
Always remember that in difficult times, God is more powerful than the unrighteous rulers and the Police (who are puppets in the hands of rulers) !
- Dr. Jayant Athavale (Poush Krushna 1, Kaliyug Varsh 5113 [11.12.2011])
Educated Hindus with a defeatist psyche !
When the British began ruling Bharat, they could not change the religious beliefs of Muslims; but they were very successful with the Hindus. Educated Hindus who were expected to guide other Hindus, themselves lost pride in their Dharma.
To cite an example - when the British or Muslims would ask Hindus, ‘We have the Bible or Quran as our Holy book. What book do you have ?’, the Hindus would keep quiet. Later, they reluctantly began to mention Srimadbhagwadgita as their Holy text. They did not say that ‘God cannot be limited to a single Holy text and hence, there are innumerable Holy texts in Hindu Dharma, unlike a single Holy book in your case. Every patient cannot be given the same medicine as each patient’s constitution is different. Similarly, there are as many temperaments as there are people and corresponding number of paths of spiritual practice; Hindu Dharma has innumerable Holy texts. Hence, we do not have just one Holy text like you have !’  Hindus in the ‘Hindu Nation’ will proudly tell this !
- Dr. Jayant Athavale (Magh Krushna 9, Kaliyug Varsh 5113 [17.1.2012])
It is essential to prepare for establishing a ‘Hindu Nation’ for our own welfare !
Post-independence, Bharatiya Constitution was designed in Bharat for the sake of public welfare. Yet, for the past 63 years, Bharatiya citizens have been experiencing anything but their welfare ! There is deterioration in every field. It is high time we realise that it is not going to be the Constitution, but establishment of a ‘Hindu Nation’, that will only lead to public welfare ! Simply said, establishing a ‘Hindu Nation’ is the need of the hour.

Seekership necessary to create a ‘Hindu Nation’ !
   1. Increased influence of Kali and deserting Dharma has made man forget humanity and become increasingly beastly : Today, behaviour in an adharmik(Unrighteous) manner is rampant all over Bharat. Influence of Kali has increased to such an extent that man has begun to believe that adharmik behaviour amounts to abidance by Dharma. He thinks that materialistic happiness, earning money is the only aim of life, and goes after this all the time.
As a result man is forgetting humanity and is becoming increasingly beastly. The fact is, by abandoning Dharma, man has drifted away from the path of spiritual evolution and is moving on a path where his downfall is certain.
   2. Since everyone is looking at the concept of ‘Hindu Nation’ from his own perspective, it has become necessary to change his thinking  :  Abidance by Dharmais the only path for spiritual evolution. Man, a virtuous individual, a spiritually curious individual, a seeker or a disciple, evolved and highly evolved individuals are the stages in evolution of mankind.
‘There are as many temperaments as there are people and corresponding number of paths of spiritual practice’ - this is a rule in spiritual practice. It means that since everyone has a different constitution, he is looking at the concept of ‘Hindu Nation’ from his/her own perspective. On studying several individuals with different lines of thought, it has become clear that we have to bring about a change in our psychology.
   3. Different perspectives on solutions and plans for the establishment of a ‘Hindu Nation’ :  Today, people have different concepts and perspectives on solutions and plans for the establishment of a ‘Hindu Nation’. Some examples are given ahead.
   A. Some people are of the opinion that Muslims, Christians and followers of other sects are the main hurdles in the establishment of a ‘Hindu Nation’ and hence, driving them out of the country or destroying them completely is the only alternative.
   B. When Hindu leaders who represent the Hindu psyche are elected in majority, then some change is likely to take place. Therefore, we must make Hindu leaders win elections.
   C. Hindus should dominate followers of other sects in terms of wealth, power and population.
Such are the different lines of thought in the society; however, all these are superficial in nature. All these solutions and plans can enhance Hindu power but will in no way help the concept of a ‘Hindu Nation’ become a reality.
   4. O Hindus ! Remember that lack of Hindutva in you can lead to events as given ahead.
   A. With the help of some  aforementioned solutions and plans, we can prevent harm from followers of other sects; but if the evildoers amongst us commit atrocities on Hindus, how will we be able to stop them ?
   B. How will we prevent our youth, who otherwise salute the national flag, from visiting pubs at night ?
   C. How will we prevent Hindu youth from teasing young Hindu women in colleges and other public places ?
   D. How will we stop Hindu youth who indulge in evils and malpractices such as drinking and forcibly collecting money during Hindu festivals ?
   5. Every Hindu must perform regular spiritual practice and abide by Dharma for realising the objective of the ‘Hindu Nation’ ! : To achieve this objective, we will have to solve many problems. Even in a ‘Hindu Nation’ we will be affected by various maladies such as addictions, immorality, creating rift between castes and getting political mileage out of it, and economic disparity. Therefore, it will not be enough to have an objective of creating only a Nation for Hindus. In fact, it will be harmful for us. We will have to think about a permanent, stable solution and apply it by dedicating our time and strength.
It is absolutely essential that every Hindu, who aims at establishing a ‘Hindu Nation’ first develop Hindutva, meaning, seekership in himself. To be able to do this, he/she is expected to perform regular spiritual practice and abide by Dharma. Only if this happens, Deity Agni will accept our oblations offered in this Hindu Dharmayadnya.
- A Seeker
When will Hindus stop saying ‘We are not united’,
‘I do not have time’ etc., without doing anything for Dharma ?
   1. We are aware of the atrocities being committed on Hindu Dharma and Hindus every day. To remain quiet, thinking that it is not possible to improve the situation, amounts to cowardice.
Many organisations are active for the sake of Hindu Dharma and the Nation. Instead of helping them, we say that rulers are not good and Hindus are not united.
We do not ask them, ‘In what way can I help your organisation ? What help can I lend while I am at home ? How many hours per week should I give for your mission ?’  The reasons are that we are least interested in our Dharma, our attitude of defending our line of thought and giving vague reasons.
   2. Followers of other sects have demonstrated umpteen times that everything is possible through unity. If a Muslim boy is beaten up by Hindus, the Muslims protest collectively. We do not learn any lesson from such incidents. If we do not contemplate and fight to change this situation, be sure that in the coming years, a child born in a Hindu house will be immediately converted to a Muslim or a Christian sect.
Wake up ! Let us bring back  the lost glory of our past kings and emperors to our Nation. Let us all learn to lead a spiritual life and prepare to make every Hindu abide by Dharma.
Hence, instead of thinking ‘What can I do alone ?’, let us make sacrifices at the physical, psychological and economic level, and join an organisation active for the sake of Dharma, thereby awakening the radiance of Dharma.
